Properties: This product is white to slightly yellow powder.
Pharmacological action: It has the strongest effect on Eimeria giant, Brucella, and Eimeria acerola in chickens, and weaker on soft and poisonous Eimeria, and higher doses are needed to achieve effect. Often combined with amproline or ditrimethoprim to enhance the efficacy. The peak of action of this product is in the second generation schizont (the 3rd to 4th day of coccidia infection), and it does not affect the coccidial immunity of birds. It has certain antibacterial properties and can prevent secondary infections of coccidiosis. It is prone to cross-resistance with other sulfa drugs.
Adverse reactions: According to the prescribed usage and dosage, no adverse reactions have been seen.
Precautions:
(1) Banned during laying hens.
(2) Continuous drinking shall not exceed 5 days, otherwise the animal is prone to poisoning.
